These images are extracted from the oldest surviving film shot in Guadalajara (it could be the first filming made in our land). This incunable is preserved in the Spanish Film Library and documents the morning walk in the Air Base Park made by Alfonso XIII retinue the 26 March 1904. The young monarch had come to the throne in 1902 and he was still single. In the information given by the newspaper La Región, four days later it was pointed out that there was a photographer called Monasterio (might be Francisco Monasterio, active then in Madrid) the one who recorded on a cinematographic film the group that surrounded the king. This is for the moment the only film shot in Guadalajara before 1926 that could be recovered.
